A Word from Our Founder and Owner

My career in the construction trades began as a 10-year-old. Eager to earn money the old-fashioned way and under the guidance of my supervisor (my dad), I began my "apprenticeship" by pulling nails from two-by-fours on old greystones in Chicago’s Wrigleyville neighborhood.

As I entered the working world, I began my adult apprenticeship as a Stationary Engineer, ultimately achieving Journeyman status. My career progressed and I became a Chief Engineer, overseeing the mechanical facilities of a million square foot facility.

Never one to be satisfied and always looking to improve myself, I enrolled at the Illinois Institute of Technology to pursue my bachelor’s degree. As I continued to grow and strive for bigger and better things in life, I ventured into small business ownership and founded Chicago Metro Home Inspections.

I am proud of having founded a small company, and especially proud — and grateful — that I garner 100% of my business from referrals of customers who like the kind of inspection that I do. I don't do any other advertising; so if you are satisfied with the scope of the inspection and the thoroughness of the report that I provide, please tell your relatives, co-workers and friends about my little company!

With over 25 years of experience in the construction trades, I have knowledge and experience in all areas of property inspection. Also, I have taken many courses in construction, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, HVAC, energy efficiency, green building, LEED and roofing, which keeps me up-to-date on current trends.
